The Clinical Pathology division of TRUSTlab conducts a wide variety of diagnostic procedures, from standard physiological tests like urine pregnancy tests to pathological testing like Urine chemistry, including routine microscopy for blood, casts, crystals, and pathological organisms. To help in the diagnosis of disorders like chyluria and steatorrhoea, special stains are employed to identify fat and fat globules in urine and stool.
Our repertoire also includes the following:
1. Detection of hemosiderin by staining
2. Dysmorphic RBCs using phase contrast microscopy
3. Stool routine examination with stool for occult blood
4. Stool for parasites and organisms.
